SUWICHA DUSADEEWANICH

Suwicha works with three-dimensional installation art that applies working methods and thinking processes of traditional Thai craftsmen. His work process involves blending together Thai architectural designs and expertise regarding use of several shapes, structures, materials and tools. For this exhibition, Suwicha is inspired by traditional Thai homes, and by creating a sense of understanding of Thai culture on a deep level. By integrating past and present, function and art, Thai culture and history will be able to evolve
and take on new forms that allow for continuity.

 

Biography:
A graduate from the Department of Thai Art; Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts at Silpakorn University What did the Collaborator do for the Exhibition? Suwicha created functional sculptures within Mukkrasan in the form of chairs
